If an assailant steals, smashes, or destroys the phone, all evidence has already synced. To protect victims from forced deletion under duress or domestic intimidation, all evidence is cryptographically locked for 24 hours.
Cab Safety & Notification Scraper
Eliminates the danger of typing down cab license plates or driver details in dark streets. An autonomous on-device notification listener extracts ride details from Uber, Ola, Rapido, and BluSmart alerts.
Verified Safe Zones & Radar
Calculates real-time vector distances to verified safe havens: 24/7 police stations, all-night hospital emergency departments, pink women booths, and user-defined personal havens. 1-tap initiates direct escape routing.
Discreet Fake Call Simulator
Provides a realistic, urgent excuse to leave an uncomfortable or rapidly escalating situation before it turns violent. Forces the device to ring at maximum volume, even if the physical mute switch is on or DND is active.
Calculator Stealth Camouflage
Essential for domestic violence victims, stalking survivors, or strict family monitoring. The app launcher icon and title transform into a fully functional mathematics calculator. Entering '8055=' unlocks the safety dashboard.
Low Battery Auto-Ping GPS Beacon
When a commuter's phone drops below 5% or 3% battery late at night, Virica automatically dispatches a final high-precision GPS coordinate fix and battery status SMS to designated guardians before power drains completely.
Duress PIN & Anti-Coercion Protocol
If an aggressor catches a victim and forces them at weapon-point to disarm the SOS, entering an alternate 'Duress PIN' displays a calm 'Emergency Disarmed' screen while secretly dispatching a Level-1 silent distress beacon to police.
National Emergency Hotlines Integration
Direct integration with Indian national emergency response helplines. 1-tap rapid dispatch connects to the 112 National Emergency desk, 1091 Women Helpline, 181 Domestic Abuse line, or 100 Police Control Room.
AMOLED True-Black Battery Engine
Every visual canvas in Virica is tuned for true-black OLED panels (#000000). Pixels are completely powered off, eliminating battery drain and screen glow during late-night distress.
Offline-to-Online Spooling Queue
If an attack occurs in an underground parking lot, elevator, or rural dead zone without cellular internet, all recorded media and telemetry are encrypted in a local transaction log and automatically upload the second connectivity resumes.
